Hymen is the god of marriage ceremonies,inspiring feasts and song. Hymen was supposed to attend every wedding. If he didn't, then the marriage would supposedly prove disastrous, so the Greeks would run about calling his name aloud. Hymen was celebrated in the ancient marriage song of unknown origin (called a Hymenaios). Hymen is represented in art as a young man with a garland of flowers, holding a burning torch in one hand.

In Greek Mythology, Lethe was one of the five rivers of Hades (underworld). Also known as the Ameles potamos (river of unmindfulness), the Lethe flowed around the cave of Hypnos and through the Underworld, where all those who drank from it experienced complete forgetfulness. The fat weed the Ghost is referring to is the wild plants grown on the banks of this river in the underworld

The Cyclopes are the one eyed monsters made famous from the story of Odysseus. The Cyclops were the sons of Uranus (Sky) and Gaia (Earth). When the Titan Cronus decided to help his mother, Gaia, by overthrowing his father, Uranus, the Cyclops helped. Instead of rewarding them for their assistance, Cronus imprisoned them in Tartarus. Zeus set the Cyclops free when he overthrew his father. The Cyclops were metal workers and blacksmiths, they repaid Zeus with the gift of thunder and lightning. Staying on as his forgers.The Cyclops also gifted the gods Poseidon with a trident and Hades with the Helmet of Darkness.
